LISTEN TO US ON THE RADIO
Yesterday we had an exciting visit at the hub from Jack and Archie from FIX Radio. The boys travelled down from Bristol and Bournemouth retrospectively for the first show meeting of 2022.
Last year was a massive success and the listeners warmed to Brad and Sam’s banter and all round showmanship. It was agreed they would build on this and bring even more to the table this year.
The boys put down their pens, grabbed their mics and got busy warming up their voices to play around with some ideas for next week’s shows.
After a few hours, it was agreed that Mondays show would still include Bald Banter and we would ask the listeners their funniest on site new year's resolutions. We’ve all been there with resolutions that only last a few days so it will be interesting to see what goals you have set yourselves. Sam explained he’s potentially already broke his, but will decide whether to reveal all when we record the show next week.
Tuesday’s show will include a chat about North Korea and the outrageous claims that Kim Jong-un tells his country, some of his lies are hilarious. We discussed chatting about having your heart set on something that never materialised, meaning you end up with something worse. (it’s happened to us all)
Jack our producer announced that Baldie vs Wifie will still have a big part in Wednesdays show and the real boss Rhi will return to take on Brad every week. This segment always provides some light hearted husband and wife entertainment.
Finally, after months of begging to get on the radio we agreed to give Calvin his radio debut next Thursday. We have a week to come up with what to discuss about his life, as you can imagine we are spoilt for choice, but we can guarantee one thing, it will be weird.
After the shows content for the week was sorted, it was sadly time to say goodbye to our friend Archie. After working with us for a year he has decided to return to Australia. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with him and we wish him all the best.
This is a big year for the team at Fix Radio as they look to take the station National on DAB. Fix is the only station for tradesman across the UK and along with our show sponsors i.t.s.co.uk we are buzzing to be part of it.
